Digital tv fine. All you need to convert your old telly is a box, but whoever thought about turning analogue radio off needs locking up. There'll be millions of tons of radios that have to be thrown away because they don't work anymore and can't be converted.

I totally agree Pol.  I only live 25 miles outside London but the digital radio signal is crap around here - and there are NO plans for it to be improved.

Just plain stupid...

If you think its bad there, here in Brid we even have a problem getting t.v I have  3 Stations  Skye , Digital, Analogue, and sometimes only one is recievable, radio well that is hit and miss Curry`s in Brid have been told not to sell digital radio`s to anyone living locally......Modern Technolagy

We are lucky round here , both analogue and digital signals are good , we have are own local transmitter for radio and channel 5

i think there's plans for someone to buy the FM frequency ??? so i heard anyway...

They sold it years ago if i remember right ,thats why the police moved off there
