British Railway Enthusiasm by Ian Carter price £60.00
I read a review of this book in a model railway magazine. One of the fascinating 'facts' they mention is that the composer Dvorak 'caught a fatal cold from hanging around railway platforms taking numbers'.
Now as we all know, or at least I hope we do, it is impossible to catch a cold from being cold. If the rest of the 'facts' in this book are of the same standard then I should think this book is one to avoid. _________________ Get off the line Bobby!
