I plan on converting a Mk1 open 2nd coach into a departmental cinema coach.  I have only a couple of black and white pictures in a book (Chenoa I think it's spelt).  I've got the transfers from a mixed departmental sheet.

If anyone knows of any colour pictures available, that would be great.  The livery would be blue & grey and with departmental stock, there will be differences between the normal coach and this.

I'm also planning on fitting some LEDs to make the appearance of somthing actually being shown on a 'screen' inside so if anyone has any ideas for what rating LEDS/resistors, etc, to make a random effect that will be run on DCC, that would be great as well.

One of the many projects.....

Rapid Electronics might have some LEDs that will suit your purpose.

If you  connect  the  coach  to  DCC    use  a  decoder  set  to  flicker  TCS FL4  or  similar.

I was at the Tolworth Model Rail Show a couple of weeks ago and one of the layouts actually had an OO gauge cinema, showing a Buster Keyton film on a scale screen.  Quite remarkable!

I'll have a look in the guide when I get home and see if I can find the layout name and group for you.
