Don't think much of it. The bright red paint shows the age of the 37s all too clearly. (Look at all those bumps!) They always looked best in green to me.

And those two locos are knackered anyway!! Saw them at York last month before their repaints. Tbh, they look smarter now than what they did in their faded EWS liveries.

I don't know why they even bothered with the yellow panel on the front that red paint could be seen from miles away, Joe, I don't think much of it either looks tacky... like a thomas toy IMO,

I think that if there's one colour that should NEVER be used on a real, live loco, it's this bright (toy) red!  It never looks any good.
I wonder sometimes what these people are on when they come up with such silly colours.

Me being a bit of a traditionalist thinks Black, Maroon, Dk Green or Dk Blue should be a legal requirement for loco livery.  (OK, I'll allow yellow front ends just to keep the Elf and Safety mob happy)
