Hi All,
If you have ever thought about using fibre optics for your models/layout heres a good link to a supplier.
A supplier on ebay charges a lot more than these guys the uses are endless eg: headlights on cars with the light source under the board .... loco lights where normal LED'S /bulbs are to bulky etc.
Yes I've thought about it, but I'm scared I'd stick some of the fibres in my fingers. Very hard to remove as I remember. You know what I'm like with knives. _________________ Get off the line Bobby!

stick the fibres in your fingers Poliss you must have very open pores
Seriously though yes the multi strand type need careful removal but a new blade run lengthways gently should start off removal of the sleeving ok _________________
Another good suppy is have a look for the small fibre opic xmas trees in the sales . You get loads of fibres and very cheep after Christmas as the shop want to sell all of the xmas stock _________________ Experience is something you don' t get until just after you need it .
Ryan had one a few years back , but it went missing don't know where it went _________________ Experience is something you don' t get until just after you need it .
