A Painting by My Mother for Her Father, Robert, My Grandad who was intrested in steam locomotives aswell. He died In 2001, today would be his 80th Birthday.

That reminds me of a painting some-one did for us (I can never remember who!). It was of that GWR publicity poster with the King heading an express with all the destinations at the bottom. It currently lives in the lounge, where I spend a fair amount of time with the piano.

That looks like a lovely picture, I'd love to have one hanging on my wall. Still, I've got some train posters up in my Gran's loft...

Im currently restocking my walls with railway posters and metal signs, Sorry about the pictures Btw they dont seem to have gone very well... especially 'cos you can see my lamp in them and they are all blurred... it was up high though!
