Not realy for me too . But for a demo layout i thought the scenics were poor

Thats Hornby for you, they want to use only their products, so that is the end result! It also means some superb new rolling stock and locos, and buildings in the skaledale range for that matter, have to sit alongside poor points and setrack curves, and some old linside details that go back to the 60s!

I saw the Hornby demo at Grosmont last weekend, looked ok,but would`nt you think they would put there sound loco`s on the main layout instead of tucked away with very little scenic support.I asked about the city of sheffield if they would produce anymore, but could not get a straight answer, just that they do a production run and did not know if they would do another, I agree the Javelin is not impressive and certainly would look out of place on my laqyout.
