Hi  All,

I   looked at a  leading  retailer for  some   Peco   N  gauge  rail  joiners   ( 3 packs)   i  went  to  the  checkout  to  find  the  postage  is   £5.00    for  them

Think   i'll   be soldering   brass strips  to   the  rail  ends  at  that   postage  cost

Must be a glitch on the checkout. Normal p&p there is £4.00 for UK and £5.00 for overseas.

There's a note in the shipping charges which says, "Where an order is for just one or two small items, postage may be reduced to £2.00."

Maybe they think you're a damn Yankee Nick. I remember making a note of thier charges a couple of years ago 'cos then it was only £2.50.

Whilst I have a flat-rack shipping charge, in this case I would have charged a pound for the Jiffy bag and the large-letter postage.

Osborns have a £2.00 shipping charge for small items, Stockton Modeller are £2.50.
I always get mine from Ebay where the postage is usually much less. e.g. item 170331010097 postage 1.10
