The Oxford and District MRC have invited me to exhibit 'Ridley USA' at their Zedex 09 exhibition on 11th October.

Sounds rather a grand affair, doesn't it?  It actually takes place in Kingston Bagpuize (Kingston Bagpuss??) village hall - which doesn't sound quite so grand.

I've said yes and I'm quite looking forward to it, but now I'll have to finish the thing off and tidy up the detail bits. (I was just going to leave it as it is and start work on my O-16.5 narrow gauge project this week.   )

Well done Tom. Will you be painting 'Emily' on the side of your loco.

I think that might be seen as taking the p*** a bit, but a good idea all the same!

The people who sold me the set (who are dealers) saw my vid Joe and suggested I contact a guy in O and D RMC. He saw the vid and came back asking if I would like to exhibit it.

A bit of a long way round but that's today's communications for you!

Yes Pete.  I never thought of actually exhibiting before due to the fact that Ridley UK is screwed to the wall!

Its great fun , The time flys by . Also you get to see the trade stands first so you might find something you are looking for , and if you are exhibiting to the traders often give you discount   At the Walden show i got £7 off a £47 loco
