Went to a model fair today and found a brass overlay kit of Falcon for £15   It needs a Lima class 47 as a doner .
Second line of the distructions ' cut body shell in two at this point '   This will be fun
I will let you know when i start on it as the workbench is full with other projects at the moment

Have you got a doner 47 already lined up Teleman?

Can you post us details as to how you get on please?  Would be interesting to see...

If that one falls thru, I've got one that you could have for a modest fee?  You might need to fiddle with the boogies though as the internal spacing between the wheels seems slightly too large to fit OO gauge track.

I saw a Hymek repainted in the style of Lion at the toy fair (with a hymek number still) and thought it looked wonderful.

I bought another Class 47 today Peter, two-tone green with TOPS panel.  I'll wait for her indoors to stop playing on the Nintendo Wii before trying it out...

The white hymek did look stunning.

These Bachmann 47s look good as well.  I had a Hornby Mamouth when I was a kid, looking at one recently, how things have changed.
