If you look at US locos they mostly seem to travel with the cab end at the front which must mean that there are still lots of turntables in the USA. Yet I haven't seen many photos of them on the web and never saw them when I was in the USA. Where do they hide them all?

That's one massive turntable! I had no idea that any DD40Xs were still running either. Pity it's 6936 and not 6926 which is the one I have.

The reason why you don't see so many turntables on the other side of the pond ist that there are even more wyes than turntables. In a wye, they turn a complete train ! Saves shunting time...

Could  you  not renumber  your loco      only  one number      
If  memory serves  me  right  all the  AX's from   Bachamnn  had  same road #  have to have a look later

Not to the configuration 6396 has now. I read that it ran over a truck and the front end has been altered.
