If you look at US locos they mostly seem to travel with the cab end at the front which must mean that there are still lots of turntables in the USA. Yet I haven't seen many photos of them on the web and never saw them when I was in the USA. Where do they hide them all? _________________ Get off the line Bobby!

The reason why you don't see so many turntables on the other side of the pond ist that there are even more wyes than turntables. In a wye, they turn a complete train ! Saves shunting time... _________________ Modular Railroading in N-scale
