Miniatur Wunderland style. Notice, not a soldering iron in sight! Lots of nice lamp posts for Dave too.

First off: I don't translate this stuff anymore. Obviously, my English is not good enough for this job  bandhead

Well, all wiring is crimped since soldering underneath the layout is way too dangerous, even if you wear safety glasses. Hot solder almost always finds it's way to your eyes... and your first reflex is to rub it in

Those lights are LED hoses as they are available in home stores or DIY markets. The come in lengths of 6 meters and can easily be extended by simply plugging in another hose. Their advantage over light bulbs are : less heat than bulbs, better light, and longer lifetime.

Take care,
Erhard

The old street lights that you replaced. Are they being sold as Dave needs some for his layout.

You should hear my German Erhard. Bad doesn't begin to describe it. How can you descibe something that is non existant?

As far as I know, the bulbs in the old street lights are replaced with LEDs and then they are stocked for future use.
