Today i had a chat to my local BT man  yes there are still some  and asked about the 'i plates' and he said that they filter out the ring circuit as that has caused a problem with slowing down the speed . but here in the Village as we are getting between 6~8 meg speed it won't make it any faster . but they now have a package that speeds up you upload time so it matchies your download time but that cost extra  wonder how much ? it could be good for sniping on ebay
