Constant lights queryIn my Piko catalogue there's a unit for keeping coach lights on all the time. I presume it's AC at 15v, though it's not made clear. It also mentions a "Choke-coil to included into the operating current supply line to avoid a short circuit of the lighting-voltage through the transformer". Anyone know if you can buy something similar here?
Further on there is a" Coupling condenser to transmit the lighting voltage over all isolating points." I'm not sure what that is. Any ideas?

It would be something like this . A coupling condenser is a way of saying a capacitor

You could build a high frequency power supply and do it as in Roger Amos's book
