Crab

Picked up a lovely 2nd hand Hughes 2-6-0, tender driven Crab in lined BR black with, I think, the early BR crest on it.

Runs smooth as anything and can hold really low speeds well too.

Only problem I have is that the tender keeps jumping off on the peco curved points that I have.  These are brand new, so shouldn't be causing a problem.  I found that the end of the rail is quite blunt when I run my finger over it.

Can I file it down at all?

Yes you can. See this article about how to stop derailments on points.
