Does anyone remember 1970's coach kits?I remember buying one in around 1970. It was a British Railways maroon model. Didn't need paint or glue. All you had to was clip and screw the parts together. Can't for the life of me remember who made it and haven't seen any refernces to it anywhere.

Trix made coach kits back then , that might be the ones you are thinking of . They do come up on ebay , I brought 4 for a while back , only trouble with them is they all seem to need new windows

That sounds like it. Don't remember what the windows were like. I only remember that they were cheaper than Tri-ang Hornby ready to run coaches.

I've got 4 here somewhere (from ebay , listed wrong) i think i only payed £12 inc post for them all it was a while back . Just need new couplings for them as the old ones are a bit bent and rusty
