Elite Firmware V1.3New firmware for the Elite will be available soon. See the DCC section of the Hornby forum.Apparently it gives the choice of "Standard" and "Classic". It's been said that one mode works better with the older Hornby decoders and the other is better for the newer ones. I don't know whether that means the latest R8215 decoders or the Sapphire decoders. I wonder what happens if you have a mixture of old and new on your layout? |

Send the old ones back as unfit for purpose maybe?
Just read on Model Rail forum that the new Hornby decoder with red dot is an interim version and there's another one coming soon with a yellow dot. |
