Great for a permanent exhibition layout I should say, but for home operation I'd use the old fashioned display panel with switches until they come up with a dcc type.

If you have a layout of that size with lots of locos running then it would have to be mostly computer controlled. Only seen part one so far so haven't seen the operators control system. I wouldn't want to control my loco with a keyboard. I'd like some sliders similar to the old Airfix control system
It would be fun to have to keep to a timetable and start when the signal turned green.
