Google Maps and RailwayIf you go to Google Maps and choose the satelite view you can see where that mysterious siding goes to. Or you could follow the Bluebell Line and see the parts of the line not usually visible to the general public. Or you could find out if a disused railway could possibly be reopened by checking if the trackbed has been built on.

Trouble is it is realy needed , the traffic at rush hour is bumper to bumper in 3 lanes for 4 to 5 miles and can take 1/2 hour to get through on a good day . I would like it to be light rail or trams

What you need is a nice Metro system like we have where you can sit in the front next to the driver and pretend you're driving the train.

Theres been an item of news on our local tv today ........seems South Yorkshire Transport is gonna have some "Train-Trams" running from Sheffield out towards Penistone ............they're gonna run on the road & the railway system.
I dunno if they're gonna be part of Sheffields "Supertram" system ...............
tbh, although it [Supertram] is virtually on my doorstep [nearest terminal is 2&1/2 miles away] I've never ridden on it ...........I dont even know what guage it is.
