Help fittting decoder milled out chassis ?

Hi all,

I have bought  a  three  unit  loco set all  powered  i  want  to convert  to DCC

http://www.visi.com/~spookshow/llalcof.html

The  U.P.   set as  in  the  second  set of  pics  there  the solid  lump  of  a chassis,  unlike  the reviewer  mine  are very  quiete and  smooth .... the problem comes with the  chassis and  fitting  a decoders  in  them as  can be seen the  groooves  in  the chassis sides  help  with  the wire  routing.
I  do know the can be  sorted if  sent  to the  states for  machining   out but  it  isnt  worth it  to be sent  and  i  have a good  drill  for  milling  but  need  a supplier  of  good quality  bits to do  the job,any  ideas of  a  good  supplier  of  the  bits  any  of  you  have  used
poliss

I get my bits from Screwfix. I think a couple of others on here do too.

My first job was on a milling machine. It had 'Chicago 1939' stamped on it.
