Hornby SkaleLighting obsolete already

Hornby's SkaleLighting is really just ordinary dolls house lighting that's been available for years. The Japanese have brought out LED lighting strips. Pity they use 100v AC so can't be used over here without a convertor. More expensive too. But the point is they use LED's instead of bulbs.

It looks like it uses 12 volts dc so you could use the dc power out from you transformer or buy a power supply in the UK

I would just make my own lights. Much cheaper. The cost of 3 LED's, terminal block, I could make it for under ummmm £3.00 at a guess.
I was comparing the RTR range of British and foreign manufactures. We're still far behind.
