Modellbahn Paradies FehmarnHi folks,
I visited this public layout today and did some photos as well as a vid which I'd like to share:
The photos are in form of a slideshow and can be found here.
I have to redo the video as the original one was too large to be uploaded to YouTube. So I will split it into two sections:
1. LGB - layouts
2. H0 - layout: I'll do that tomorrow...
Will let you know when they're up and running.
This is my first attempt with my new toy, so please forgive the poor quality. Discovered at home that my new cam has a "nightshot" mode
Edit 25-06-09:
Well, there won't be an H0 video report, much to my regret. The clips were way too dark. I tinkered around with Pinnacle Studio and couldn't get any satisfactory results. Sorry about that. On second thought, I now have a reason to go back and shoot another sequence .

Layout looked very good. It's a pity about the lighting as the technical wizardy used to compensate for it makes the video 'blocky'.
I don't think Youtube have managed their new bells and whistles properly as I can add anotations to your video. Surely only the original uploader should get that option.

Everyone can add annotations to your vid Erhard, so I think you ticked the wrong box when you uploaded it!
Get back on and edit your settings.

Thanks lads, I posted the wrong link. That is now corrected (I hope). COuld you please test, if you still can add annotations ?
And as far as the H0-layout goes: Sometimes, I'm like a terrier that can't let go
So here's a version I could manage to get out of the dark raw material:

Fiddled around with Pinnacle Studio almost all morning but I am neither quite aquainted with the cam nor with the software. Next time, I do a better job

Annotations have gone. Did you alter the HO video electronicly to make it lighter or did you just cut out the darkest parts Erhard?

I used the filters of Pinnacle Studio 12 to brighten it and correct the contrast. Must say that I am not satisfied with what I saw when running it from YouTube. I uploaded a Flash (flv)-file and somehow it looks like the first computer games with the "blocky" background. WIll have to run a couple more tests...
