My Rolf Harris Boxcar

Can you tell what it is yet?

I call it my Rolf Harris boxcar because I won't know what it is till it gets here. All I know is that it's made by Lima, so the seller said anyway. Can anyone make out the road?

Looks  like  an Illinois  central  car  to me Poliss         too  bright  a  scheme  for  me

Looks like it's a 'waffle' sided boxcar, perfect for me. lol

Hi  Poliss,

Didnt  have time  to  search  around  this  morning   think  i  have  a car  like it  though as  i  say  it  is  a  bit  bright  so  i  may  have gone  on ebay

Found this  HO    car though  and  mine  was  just  like it   but  of  course  N  scale

Not exactly  the  same  but  very  near   you  could  find its  an  older  Atlas   or  Bachmann   release.

I found another pic on ebay. Looks like the same model. Still don't know who makes it, as this seller didn't know either.

Hi Poliss,

Seems   Model  Power/Atlas/Bachamnn  have all  made   various issues   according  to  this  listing  on  ebay ........

I'm guessing it's Model Power. Should find out tomorrow, if it comes.

Pol,
The picture above is definitely a Model Power boxcar as a little research found : Click here

rrpicturearchives.net didn't have that roadnumber in their archives. Since the shown roadnumber is not even close to number range of IC rolling stgock, I presume it is a phantasy-number.

However, there's a clue to the cartype (DF-2). According to this, I found out the following for your yard archive:
AAR Class: XL
AAR Type: A332
Detail Info: Equipped Box Car, Inside Length: 49' to 59', Sliding door, opening between 9 and 11 feet

Hi  Erhard,

Good picture of  the car   saved  it in  my   weathered   cars  folder   for  reference     thanks

Rolf came this morning. Looked underneath and she is made by Lima. The only differences between the one in the pic and mine are that Rolf has no grafitti and the orange isn't quite so bright.
upnick

Hi  Poliss,

Glad Rolf  landed  ok          you got a fine felt  tip    ...  you too  can  have  grafitti  on  yours
