National Express East Coast Trains to be NationalisedEast Coast rail to be state-run
The government says it intends to take the East Coast rail service, run by National Express, into state ownership.

They could have thought of a better name I know how about British Rail and paint every thing blue

I remember in the early 80s at Victoria Station in London the Microwave Bacon Rolls from the Buffet were great. Didn't taste like bacon or bread rolls just something strange and at a temperature that could melt steel!

It could be 'The East Coast Main Line Company'. Hard to tell with 'The Great Leader'.
I preferred the 'ferret on a unicycle' logo. <VBG>

Thank god NatEx have gone... Worst services the ECML has ever seen! Maybe the government wont put in barriers at stations to stop enthusiasts as well...
I wonder what the new livery will be...

They won't do what Nat Ex did (which is part of the reason of some of their debt) which is relivery the stock because they were more bothered about branding than providing cheap fares and good service.
