Did you know that the German Postal Service will put all it's mail transport on the road? According to the news, they will be able to save 60 - 70 million Euros a year this way. What a weird world

They tried putting all UK mail on the roads. They soon found it didn't work and they had to very quietly bring some back. |

The one positive that came from the axeing of TPO services in 2004 is that preserved railways can now have working TPO sets much more easily, without having to carry out a 20 year overhaul on a really vintage coach!!
I would like to see some loco hauled services again on the network, it might bring some interesting locos through peterborough instead of yinger mingers and Skips! |
