Suede brushHi All 
I found a good way to roughen up the polystryrene block i'm using for the tunnel bit messy but it can give you texture on foam surfaces before scenics providing a key for the glue as a bonus .... a wire suede brush any wire brush can be used but make sure you vac up really well after and watch for stray wires coming off the brush.
