The inside of my SkodaThe photos show the general arangement of the insides of my Skoda's. The two large lead weights that take up most of the insides above the worms aren't shown.
The two square pieces of metal near the front and rear are actually made from selenium which controls the lighting direction.
View from above. The pickups go from the wheels to the front and rear of the loco before returning to the motor via some kind of windings.
The two semicircular clips that should hold the motor in place are broken at the top which allows the motor to lift and dissengage from the gears. I shall want to fix those somehow before I chip them. There is room for a decoder above the motor.
