Tinsley Towers DemolitionThe reason I am on so early (or late) is because I have been to Sheffield to watch the Tinsley cooling towers by the side of the M1 being demolished. The M1 has been closed for the day. The demolition was due at 03:00 and there was no countdown or anything in the car park where I was stood which is why the video misses the first split second. The demolition actually failed at part of the North tower is still standing but you can't quite see it in the pics. I got home at 04:00 and I have to be up at 06:30 to walk into town to catch 2 trains to Skipton Model Railway Exhibition so whether I will get to sleep or not...
