I'd read that technique somewhere before, maybe a magazine? I thought you had to use hairspray or something to make it stick though? thanks anyway, i use chalk pastels for my art, found another use now, thanks alot.

He has said you can fix it with hair spray but as long as you don't handle them to much there is no need to

more for a layout with stock that stays on all the time then. ah well, i dont like to weather anyway, i think it ruins the wagon or coach if it is permenantly dirty, after all they were cleaned occasionally.

Same with me Joe , I only weather them to hide scratchies as you can never realy match the paint colour . I did a class 52 that Ryan dropped after filling a deep scratch , weathered , sold on ebay for £20

Nice, I wouldnt like to drop a more modern model though, no amout of weathering will revive one of 'em. Joe
