Will's Railway PicturesAs I have a few trips planned, I thought I may as well keep all the pictures and videos in one place.
Today was Donny. It was an excellent day - we had a HST bash back up to Leeds

Yesterday was a 10 minute train ride to Marsden to see UoSA with the Scarborough Flyer. Marsden is uphill, so it is much better! There was a very excitied, but nice lady with her husband stood next to me (and my friends dad! How embarassing!). The station and bridge was packed out with people and midges. No one knew if it would stop or go straight through but it did stop to let the TPE through. The second video shows it going into Standedge Tunnel next to the canal tunnel (the longest and deepest in the country. It takes about 3 hours to get through on a Tug but that is hauling 3 or 4 barges) and I would not have liked to have been in a boat then as the tunnel will have filled with smoke through the shafts and abits connecting the 4 tunnels.

When she says in the first video, 'Al put mi umba down for yer', she had her umberella half open over her head to keep the midges away and she kept opening and closing it as a deterrant!
Monday, I am going to the NYMR
Friday, it's Mirfield for the Scarborough Flyer
Saturday, Northallerton
Sunday, the demolition of the big cooling towers in Sheffield and Skipton model railway exhibition
Monday, it's back to Skipton again
And there should be day rover thrown in for good measure!
So, a few pictures up in the next week!

It was a shame about the weatehr today but it was still good. I saw a dead sheep and an alive one run across the tracks. I wasn't very happy though as there were quite a few people who idn't really care. One woman chucked her cigarette butt into a flower bed and another man chucked his crisp packet out of the train window...Anyway, here is a video and the pics will be put up shortly.

Nice vids and pics Will. NYMR looks good whatever the weather, I have been there in the sun, the snow and the rain all in the same day, and it was freezing, but its still great!

Yesterday I went on another day rover. Went to the KWVR where I missed two freights, and a few other places. It was very good. Today, I went to Northallertonwith GBRail, great turnout and great tones. There are also some NYMR photos in there aswell.

Some fine shots there Will. I particularly like the narrow boats. Very useful if you're thinking to add some interest to a layout.
Cheers.
