My latest foray into kit bashing old diecast models...

Can you tell which one is the real one?

It was originally an old and battered Corgi Police Minivan and because it came with the rear wheel arch detail there was no need for lots of fabricating of fiddly stuff, just a tailgate and solid bulkhead. .

Love the green, all my Airfix kits were like that.
I wish I could cut in straight lines.

I do know how to thumb a lift home from the pub in a police van though.

I actually used a band saw with a very old wood cutting blade Nick.  If you cut slowly the results are great - as long as you only want a straight line!  It's no good for curves   .

Pol, the colour is Halfords 'Goodwood Green' which is remarkably similar to Humbrol green isn't it?  In Liverpool you didn't even have to thumb a lift - they gave you one whether you wanted one or not!
